What is the Source, Explore, Ship program?
Source, Explore, Ship is the same process as Source + Ship, but in between the Source and Ship parts, you can fly to South Africa and take your vehicle on the self-drive safari of your choice (that you plan and pay for, but we are happy to provide as much FREE advice and local connections as you want!).
What is a Sourced vehicle vs. a custom LEKKER build?
Sourcing a vehicle vs. building a vehicle, is up to you. Sourced vehicles are ones that we find that are already built and meet your specifications. We still service and repair them as needed, but sourcing a vehicle is significantly faster than doing a custom frame-off restoration.
We can advise you on what makes the most sense depending on your timing and budget. There are pros and cons to both processes. Prices will vary depending on your vision and needs.

THE BRIEF (RECEIVED MARCH 2026)
A Rally-Ready Defender that would be both capable and comfortable. Bonus points for a green vehicle. It needs to be ready by late June 2026 (just 3 months away!).
OUR SOLUTION: MEET ISHUMI
Ishumi means “10” in Zulu which is the number of years our friends have been married. What a LEKKER way to mark their wedding anniversary! They had the option to take delivery in Cape Town or Johannesburg. They opted for Joburg and drove to the Rally start location in Hartbeespoort before taking off on their 7-country expedition.
