Our buyers
As varied and lovely as classic Rover paint codes, our clients are united by a love for outdoor adventure and the connection that comes with Landy ownership.
Bob & Robin
Bob, pictured on the far right, is a well-known character in the local and national Landy community. He is a constant at ROAV and ANARC events including the recent RoverBall 2 Cheese to Tacos expedition.
Bob purchased a one-owner 2000 Defender 110 with the SA market exclusive 2.8i m52 BMW engine.
His wife, Robin (not pictured) is also a Land Rover enthusiast and proud member of the Sulihull Sisterhood.
True LegendsGeorge & Kira
These two legends followed the long import journey of Lekker’s only Namibian vehicle (pictured here) and decided to make it their own in 2022.
This year, they are celebrating 10 years of marriage by taking on the ultimate adventure through seven sub-Saharan countries on The Africa Rally’s Discovery Route.
They will be driving a 1998 Heritage Tribute Defender 110 nicknamed “Ishumi” which means 10 in Zulu.
Globe TrottersFamily AdventurersAdam & Catie
Adam and Catie came to meet us in Richmond with their two young daughters to pick up Pumbaa, a freshly restored Stornoway Grey D110.
Always ready for a roadtrip, the last time we caught up with them they were on a last minute tour of Ireland.
When they aren’t exploring across the pond, they call North Carolina home, so we hope to see them soon at a ROAV event in Virginia!
Merrie Mill FarmGuy & Elizabeth
Good times and creative vibes are always on the menu at Merrie Mill!
The Pellys were among our first clients. They are now the proud owners of two of our most unique custom builds: a Marine Blue D110 Game Viewer and a sassy little Playboy Pink D90.
These Lekker vehicles are the centerpiece of Vineyard Safari Tours and Wine Tastings and also serve as Getaway Cars at weddings.
Barry
Despite living in Colorado, Barry (pictured right) zigzags across the country on a fairly regular basis.
One of his maiden trips to the East Coast with his Lekker D110 was to attend the first The Lowcountry Series in Charleston in 2022 alongside one of our favorite Land Rover event organizers, Cooper Murray (pictured left).
We talk to Barry often and cherish his loyalty and friendship!

Richard & Tarron
Richard and Tarron were our very first buyers of the D110 that started it all!
We finally got to meet them in person when we delivered their second Lekker vehicle, Bols (a stunning Series IIa), to their home outside Nashville, Tennessee.
Over the years, we’ve enjoyed keeping in touch, especially when their daughter’s engagement photos featured our favorite mid-grey Series. Talk about happily ever after…
