alfie - SOURCE + SHIP

$65,000.00

Source + Ship is the fastest option that we currently offer. This process takes about six months and allows for minimal customizations—a great option for Land Rover purists who want to keep a vehicle’s exterior character intact.

All vehicles still undergo a thorough inspection and service to ensure they arrive ready for their next adventure.

We’ve outlined how this process worked for the featured vehicle:

THE BRIEF (RECEIVED OCTOBER 2025)

A well-storied safari vehicle that will help tell new stories in an urban setting. Our client wanted some very specific add-ons to help cater to guests including a beverage fridge, a spare tire grill and a shade awning. More details to follow!

OUR SOLUTION: “ALFIE” (ETA JULY 2026)

Alfie once belonged to our good friend Gina’s dad, who is named Alf, so this vehicle is named in his honor (using the “ie” diminutive which is common in Afrikaans). Alfie was a safari vehicle and lived most of its life in Marloth Park, a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga Province.

VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS: “ALFIE”

1997 Alpine White Defender 110

300 TDi Engine

Roof Rack

Melvill & Moon Seat Covers in Classic Sand

Alu-Cab 270 Shadow Awning

Engel Portable Fridge (replaces Center Cubby Box)

Desert Spare Wheel Braai/BBQ Grid
