Two and a half weeks isn’t nearly enough time to catch up with all of the people and places we love in South Africa, but we did our best to cram as much as we could into our last visit home. Our stops included Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Johannesburg, Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek and more…

We chronicled some of the highlights in real time on our Instagram channel, but we also tried to disconnect from technology so that we could be more in the moment with family and friends.

After loads of outdoor adventures, Land Rover hunting, celebrating milestone birthdays (50th celebration x 3!), foodie delights, wine estates, a spa visit and lots of proudly South African shopping, we even unexpectedly introduced our youngest to the private healthcare system in South Africa which is absolutely top notch!!
